"As part of the on-going upgrade and development at our Victoria Terminals the next stage of the program for the port infrastructure will be the refurbishment of the existing linkspan which serves the Belfast – Heysham vessels.
To facilitate the work required to complete the infrastructure changes, Stena Line has made temporary arrangements to relocate the Belfast – Heysham service to Albert Quay within Belfast Port commencing on Monday 2nd November 2020.
During this period of relocation we will only be able to accommodate driver accompanied vehicles and unaccompanied trailers for shipment. No trade vehicles or other unaccompanied traffic can be accepted for shipment on this service.
There will be no change to the existing sailing schedule in operation on the Belfast-Heysham service during this period.
The Sunday 1st November 20:00 departure from Heysham will arrive and discharge as scheduled on Monday November and all vehicles on this sailing will be available for collection from Albert Quay. The first sailing from Belfast will be the Monday 2nd November departure at 08:30 – all vehicles booked on this sailing should check in at Albert Quay.
Albert Quay - Terminal Opening Hours
The terminal will be open for the drop off and collection of trailers throughout the day, however, we will operate an ‘out of hours’ procedure for the release of trailers during the following times:
- Monday to Sunday: 21:30hrs - 05:00hrs
- Saturday: 10:00 hrs - 17:00hrs
- Sunday: 10:00hrs – 17:00hrs
Requests for trailer releases during these times should be submitted by email in advance to the following email address:
line.BelfastVT1.VT2.FreightTeamLeaders@stenaline.com
As terminal space on Albert Quay will be limited, we must request that customers collect trailers as soon as possible after ship’s arrival.
We would like to thank you for your valued support and co-operation during this period of relocation."
