As part of Eurotunnel's annual investment programme, Eurotunnel plans regular essential maintenance works and upgrades in the tunnel. The aim is always to minimise the impact on customers and therefore maintenance periods are scheduled when traffic is at its lowest.
To help you manage your deliveries accordingly, please note the following changes in Eurotunnel's timetable:
Essential tunnel maintenance in January 2018
Eurotunnel will be running a reduced service overnight during the following weekends:
- 13th to 14th January: from 20:00 (CET) on Saturday to 21:00 (CET) on Sunday
- 27th to 28th January: from 18:00 (CET) on Saturday to 21:00 (CET) on Sunday
Temporary overnight service suspension 20-21 January
As every year, a safety exercise is organised with the relevant French and UK authorities. This will take place during the night of Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st January 2018 resulting in a temporary overnight service suspension as follows:
The LAST freight shuttle departure on Saturday night will be:
- From Folkestone: at 21:54*
- From Calais: at 22:54*
The FIRST freight shuttle departure on Sunday morning will be:
- From Folkestone: at 05:23*
- From Calais: at 06:09*

If you wish to travel on the last departure please check-in no later than 60 minutes before the planned departure time. Folkestone and Calais Terminals will be closed during this time.
In order to minimise the impact on your business, additional departures are planned as soon as our normal service resumes.
